Ondrives has expanded its range of precision shoulder screws to include options in 303 and 416 grade stainless steel for increased corrosion protection and for applications where additional hardness may be required.

All the new stainless steel shoulder screws have a broached hexagonal head to accept an Allen key but slotted and crossed recessed heads are available in metric or imperial sizes with American class threads.

The size range starts at M3 with a shoulder diameter and length of just 4mm, well below the normal M5 starting sizes, to provide an off-the-shelf solution to a wider range of design problems.

The screws are available in both grades from M3 up to M10, with tight shoulder and length tolerances, to provide an alternative across a wide range of sizes to using steel-plated versions.

The screws are fully machined, which, the company states, allows modifications to be made to suit engineers' specifications.
