New from Ondrives, the BLHM gearbox is based on the ever-popular BLH range, which is a bevel type gearbox with heavy-duty hardened bevel gears as standard The new BLHM range uses the standard design while encompassing a double output design that has counter-rotating shafts, which the company states, allow more flexibility when designing machines
Because it also uses an extra bevel gear, this three-bevel design permits two different directions of shaft rotation from one input source, therefore cutting down on the need for extra motors or drives and time-consuming complicated drive design.
The company claims that suitable areas of industry include packaging and printing as well as pick and place machinery and bespoke OEMs.
