Linear slide system keeps the noise down

An Ondrives/Rino Industries product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team May 24, 2005

A new Drylin linear slide system offers maximum design space flexibility.

Ondrives has added to its extensive range of linear motion systems with a new Drylin linear slide system designed for maximum design space flexibility.

The rail, carriage place and end blocks are all made from aluminium, the carriage blocks are die cast zinc and the bearings are self lubricating Drylin plastic.

They are insensitive to dust and dirt making them ideal for applications where this is at a premium.

They are flat and wide for supporting high moments and allow flexible use of design space.

They have a low friction value for dry running and are rugged, corrosion-free and wear resistant.

To add to their extensive list of advantages, they feature low noise operation making them highly desirable for noise sensitive environments.

To finish, their dimensions allow use with commercial aluminium machine building system profiles.
