Linear guides get rack-and-pinion option
HPC Drives has extended its range of Drylin linear guides to include a rack-and-pinion option.
The precision rolled ballscrews with pre-loaded nuts are available from 16mm screw shaft diameter up to 40mm and they are made from an all steel construction, except for the end wipers which are Nitrile rubber.
The nut is made to DIN 69051 (1989) with flange form B and lengths are standard in either 500 or 1000mm.
The transport rolled ballscrew has a non-preloaded nut, but a high lead to C10 accuracy.
The maximum running temperature is 80C.
The rolled ballscrew has a non-preloaded rectangular platform nut as standard to C10 accuracy.
As the top surface of the nut is not hardened at the heat treatment stage, dowel pin fixing is possible.
Standard lengths are 500 and 1000mm.
