Linear bearings are for use with linear shafting

An Ondrives/Rino Industries product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jan 4, 2007

Linear bearings for use with linear shafting are available in three different types: open, adjustable and closed.

Linear bearings for use with linear shafting are a popular linear motion product offered by Ondrives of Chesterfield.

There are three different types available: open, adjustable and closed.

They are also available in either carbon steel or stainless, although the range of sizes offered in steel is bigger (from 5 to 80mm bore) than stainless (5 to 30mm bore as standard).

The hard linear shafting with which they are used with is also supplied by Ondrives in order to meet single source requirements.

There is also a range of miniature linear bearings available, again in both steel and stainless.

These sizes range from 3mm bore up to 5mm for both material types.

They are also offered in either a long or short version in certain sizes and sealed linear bearings are available on request.
