Rotary bushings offer smooth movement
Ondrives' Stroke rotary bushings can operate in both linear and rotary directions at the same time.
Ondrives of Chesterfield offers rotary bushings as part of its linear motion range of parts The sealed type stroke rotary bushings are made from carbon steel as standard, with an ordinary and heavy-duty type type available

Linear guides get rack-and-pinion option
HPC Drives has extended its range of Drylin linear guides to include a rack-and-pinion option.
Stroke rotary bushings can operate in both linear and rotary directions at the same time, and therefore radial clearance should be held to a minimum if shock load is applied or vibration is present during the operation.
It is especially recommended to use zero or minimal preload when this series is used in a vertical axis or very accurate movement is required.
Shaft diameters range from 8 up to 100mm as standard.
Miniature stroke rotary bushings are also available as standard.
They are a very compact linear motion rolling guide with a low sectional height and can achieve both rotary motion and reciprocating motion in the axial direction at the same time.
The series features smooth motion with low frictional resistance and is used in micro mechanisms of machines and equipment requiring precise rotation and linear motion such as measuring instruments, IC manufacturing machines and precision equipment.
