Duratrue 90 from Rino Industries is a new range of compact, right-angle, hollow-shaft, planetary gearheads that provide direct connection to multiple drives

A new range of compact, right-angle, hollow-shaft, planetary gearheads that provide direct connection to multiple drives has been launched by Rino Industries of Chesterfield.

The new Duratrue 90 range eliminates the need for a separate coupling, reduces component costs, and saves space with a shorter installed length.

Duratrue 90 planetary gearheads deliver higher torque and longer life than older, spiral, bevel-geared, right-angle gearheads and have a smaller, lower intertia package.

The new gearheads offer a backlash of 8 arc-minutes, have a peak torque rating of 842Nm and a peak, radial-load capacity of 8kN.

They are available in 90, 115, and 142mm2 frame sizes, with ratios from 1:1 - 500:1.

Bore sizes available are: 22, 30 and 38mm.

Additional features include: gearhead's teeth hardened to HRC 60, lifetime lubrication, lightweight anodized aluminium housing, needle bearings on planet gears and easy mounting with Redimount, motor-mounting system.
