Rino Industries has a brand new range of ultra-low-friction ball slides.

Rino Industries has a brand new range of ultra-low-friction ball slides These low-resistance slides are ultra-smooth in motion and have a very low frictional resistance

This makes them ideal for use in areas such as medical and measuring equipment.

Hard 440C stainless-steel balls are used in the stainless-steel tracks within the aluminium table and base giving a very low inertia in the assembly itself.

The main benefit of this is to use the slide in a no lubrication environment such as vacuums.

The ultra light movements with a low coefficient of friction at just 0.001 which uses high-precision balls running on two parallel linear shafts is preset, but can also be adjusted by screws fitted for clearance and/or pre-load.

The maximum speed figure of up to 30m/min and maximum temperatures of up to 80C give ample room to use all the benefits of a low friction device.

Sizes start at 8mm for the miniature range which has a 13mm stroke increasing to a 25mm with an impressive 155.6mm stroke.

With plenty of tapped and counter bored holes incorporated into the unit for ease of fixing, the end user is easily able to design units like these into their application without the worry of difficult and tiresome assembly.
