Couplings offer backlash-free
connections
Rino Industries' metal bellows couplings are suitable for use where two rotating opposite shafts are to be connected frictionally and backlash free.
Extensive developments of CNC technology have meant ever more dynamic and complex related driving elements are required, and it is for this reason that Rino Industries of Chesterfield has a range of metal bellows couplings They have considerably proven their worth when used at highly controlled dynamic drives

Ondrives puts HPC catalogue on the web
HPC Drives, of Chesterfield, have developed an on-line version of its 578-page catalogue of mechanical drive components at, www.ondrives.com.
They are used wherever two rotating opposite shafts are to be connected frictionally and backlash free.
The most important characteristic of these types of couplings is that they can be mounted very easily and fixing of the hubs is affected only by simply tightening the fastening screws.
This is why the couplings can also be easily mounted to inaccessible locations.
The AKD and AKN couplings can be supplied with adjusting spring grooves, and clamping is designed in a way as to guarantee that the torque transfer without adjusting spring grooves is absolutely backlash free, even with high speeds.
Any misalignment of the shafts is therefore compensated and acoustic noise of the motor or the drive is reduced by acoustic damping.
They are highly suitable for use at numerically controlled machinery and equipment, packaging machinery and transporting equipment.
Both types of couplings are within a torque range of 18-500Nm and within a shaft diameter range of 10-60mm.
The couplings are also easily made to customer's specifications.
Typical applications include controlled handling machinery; packaging machinery; textile machinery; and general motive power engineering.
