Ventilation fasteners are particularly suited to vacuum chamber applications in clean rooms, flat panel display production equipment and semiconductor devices.

The screws available vary widely and range from socket head cap metric or imperial screws in stainless steel or titanium with ventilation holes (no surface treatment, chemical or electro polished, low head, special low head), hexagon head bolts, socket button head cap screws, Phillips cross recessed pan or flat head machine screws and stainless steel or titanium washers with ventilation grooves.

Sizes range from M3 to M12 threads with lengths available from 5 up to 60mm.

The special low head cap screw versions are especially suited to applications where cosmetic concerns are paramount, as the height of the head is less than 1.5mm meaning that the screw goes unnoticed after installation.

The washers with ventilation grooves are suitable for use with both the socket head cap screws and the hexagon head bolt with ventilation holes.

Ventilation fasteners are particularly suited to vacuum chamber applications in clean rooms, FPD (flat panel display) production equipment and semiconductor devices.

All are clean washed, minimising gas diffusion and preventing foreign particle inclusion.

Alternative surface treatments are available on request too - including gold plating, silver plating, electroless nickel and Raydent.

Chemical and electrochemical polishing actually improves the surface roughness of the parts.
