Precision gears manufactured to Grade 7 accuracy

An Ondrives product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Apr 30, 2009

Ondrives has introduced a range of in-house manufactured products into its most recent all-products catalogue, to be released in April 2009.

The new products include precision gears that have been manufactured to DIN 3961, with Grade 7 accuracy.

Investment in the Swiss CNC gear-hobbing machine, the Gleason Pfauter P90 has ensured Ondrives is even able to achieve Grade 5 pitch accuracy.

Spur gears from 0.5Mn up to 3.0Mn module, worms and wheels, helical gears and more are all available as standard.

Specials and modifications are also readily available with both production runs and smaller quantities being welcomed on a just-in-time basis.

Standard materials available include high-quality stainless steel, steel, aluminium, bronze and plastics.

Most materials can easily be sourced by Ondrives to suit customer's demands, designs and applications.

This is backed up with Solidworks 3D CAD seats along with the latest KissSoft gear software.
