XGT and XGS miniature couplings prevent vibration

An Ondrives product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jul 3, 2009

Ondrives has introduced a high-quality range of miniature couplings, which are displayed in the company's precision mechanical handbook.

The range encompasses the XGT and XGS maximum speed couplings, which are ideal for servomotors.

They employ anti-vibration rubber to eliminate resonance points under 1000Hz, which results in the loss of resonance frequencies, a factor that conventional couplings cannot hide.

When used with a servomotor, the anti-vibration attributes of the XGT and XGS couplings increase the motor's gain.

The length of the XBW and XBS disk couplings can easily be altered by increasing or decreasing the number of disks and performance attributes, such as higher torsional stiffness.

These lengths can be altered by as little as 1mm increments, making them ideal for wide gaps between shafts where a small adjustment makes a big difference.

XBW is the double-disk version, XBS the single disk.
