This means that most new replacement rollers or idlers can now be supplied "off the shelf" from stock, and special or nonstandard roller types can be manufactured within short lead times to British and European standards.
Harpscreen now manufactures genuine replacement rollers and idlers for all makes and models of mobile screening equipment.
Roller types include: return rollers; adjustable troughing idlers; impact rollers; standard side supported troughing rollers; and disc returns.
Harpscreen already manufactures its conveyor drums in-house and a wide range is always available for selection from stock.
These can be lagged if required to prevent any slippage between the conveyor belt and the drive unit.
Idlers, rollers and drums are part of Harpscreen's extensive range of conveyor products and services.
The company's standard conveyor belting, for example, employs low stretch EP fabric abrasion resistant rubber covers and is BS490 and DIN22 102 compliant.
The belts are impervious to humidity and wet, and offer high tear resistance.
For the inclined conveying (in excess of 18 degrees) of bulk materials, the company can supply a complete range of chevron belts, again compliant with industry standards.
Harpscreen can also supply a range of special purpose conveyor belts such as canvas back grip top, canvas back smooth top, and cleated belts.
To complement these there is an extensive selection of belt fasteners, clips and tooling on offer as well as an on-site belt fastening service, should it be required.
Harpscreen experienced belt operatives are even on hand 24 hours a day to provide a complete on-site vulcanising service for all belts up to 1.5m wide.
