The Hart Communication Foundation has opened a new technology support office in Shanghai, China.
The Hart Communication Foundation (HCF) has opened a new technology support office in Shanghai, China.
The new office is being established to better serve industry needs for Hart Communication in this important and rapidly growing world area.
Yan Liu has been appointed Technology Support Manager for HCF China.
He will co-ordinate with the HCF staff in Austin, Texas, to provide application assistance, information and support in the Chinese language to Hart users and HCF member companies in Chinese time zones.
"The HCF China office combined with Yan Liu's background and expertise are already proving invaluable in serving the ever-growing industry needs for Hart Communication in China", says HCF Executive Director Ron Helson.
"The Shanghai office joins HCF Austin and HCF Europe to provide global support for this important technology".
Yan Liu is fluent in Mandarin and in English and has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in process control from East China University of Technology and Science.
He has more than 12 years experience in process automation with the China Academy of Science, Moeller Electric China and Bayer Technology Services.
