Hitachi Cable Manchester has a family of extremely flexible micro-coaxial cables for a range of medical and security applications.

Hitachi Cable Manchester (HCM) has a family of extremely flexible micro-coaxial (MCX) cables for ultrasound medical assemblies, laptop computers, high-end workstations, automated test equipment, and other medical and security applications.

Available in the 36-48AWG range, the MCX cables feature maximum signal integrity, low skew (line to line), low EMI, and virtually no crosstalk.

HCM's MCX cables easily route as individual cables, in a bunched composite cable, or in a flat ribbon (MCX RibbonX) cable.

Most cables feature PFA insulation and a PET jacket that allows significantly easier stripping than an extruded jacket.

The normal stripping process is simplified when the RibbonX cable is used, and a two-step laser process easily prepares the cable for soldering to the SMT PCB adapter card.

To complement the MCX single, ribbon, and composite cables, HCM offers 36AWG and 40AWG Twin Ax cables.

These 100ohm, low capacitance cables offer the necessary combination of signal integrity and excellent routing capabilities.
