Full range of conductive particulate
products
Novamet specialised particulate materials are used as conductive fillers in applications where composite organic-based materials with a high level of electrical conductivity are essential.
Since 1980, Novamet Specialty Products Corp - based in Wyckoff, New Jersey, USA - has been manufacturing specialised particulate materials These are used as conductive fillers in applications, typically RFI/EMI shielding, where composite organic-based materials with a high level of electrical conductivity are an essential part of the technology

Conductive nickel spheres add a new dimension
The Novamet range of conductive nickel spheres is now available in five different sizes grades.
Nickel flakes make conductive coatings
New grades of nickel flake are ideally suited for application techniques such as screen-printing where there is a limit to the size of flake particle than can be tolerated.
By pursuing a policy of continuous development of new materials for specific uses, Novamet is now able to offer a unique range of 14 different products with a proven track record in this exacting market.
The full range comprises: conductive nickel flake Grade HCA-1; conductive nickel powder Type 525 - regular and low density; nickel coated graphite - 75 and 60% nickel; conductive nickel spheres - -400 mesh, -20 micron, -20/+20 micron, -10 micron and -4 micron; silver-coated nickel spheres - standard, coarse and fine -400 mesh; and silver-coated nickel flake.
These products exhibit different levels of electrical performance which, in combination with different morphologies, provide important flexibility in formulation.
They are consequently used to produce a wide range of conductive materials such as elastomeric gaskets, paints, inks and sealants.
West Midlands (UK) based Hart Coating Technology distributes Novamet materials in the UK, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Holland, Ireland and Luxembourg.
Dr Tony Hart, of Hart Coating Technology, feels that the excellent track record of Novamet's conductive products gives them a cutting edge in new high technology applications.
"They have been shown to be highly dependable in many situations, such as the aerospace industry, where reliability is absolutely critical".
"Novamet materials are ideal for new and sophisticated uses because they have a unique combination of properties which is backed up by years of solid application experience", he comments.
