HiTek Power has two new 1kW X-ray generators that feature a high level of remote control and monitoring.

HiTek Power has introduced two 1kW X-ray generators that feature a high level of remote control and monitoring The HiGen 1000 generators offer output voltages of up to 60 or 90kV and incorporate an integrated, isolated filament supply

The high voltage output uses the industry standard R10 cable assembly for safety and robustness.

The monitoring facilities offered by the new units include active monitoring of both filament voltage and current.

Sensing of the beam current is carried out by an isolated monitor, which feeds an optical signal back to the main control board giving high stability and accuracy.

Status is displayed on a large front-panel LCD.

Beam current is controlled either by an analogue interface or by HiTek Power's proprietary RS232 interface.

Both interfaces are housed within the generators and contribute to the units' very high performance.
