TFL fulfils orders for small industrial outfits

A Technical Fulfilment product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Apr 22, 2009

Technical Fulfilment (TFL) has started up to specialise in storage, pick, pack and dispatch for smaller industrial manufacturers, particularly those making small components or fittings.

TFL is structured to pick and pack with complete accuracy, create sub-assemblies as and when required, and dispatch the goods on time.

It provides small-to-medium companies with the opportunity to outsource to a dedicated supplier at lower cost as a result of not needing to invest in additional staff, warehousing, equipment and IT systems.

TFL also specialises in sub-assemblies and employs technically aware staff to gather and assemble components for a range of clients.

All goods that arrive in storage are checked at the point of entry, placed in bins and allocated a computer location, ensuring that what is on a stock sheet is genuinely what is in stock.

Also, accurate inventory control means that TFL always knows where a customer's goods are, whether in store or in transit.

TFL has invested in sophisticated software and tracking systems to ensure that all consignments can be tracked with reports through all stages of the process.
