The MTL precision magnet tensioning brakes range comprises six basic models covering a variety of torques, loads, speeds and application configurations.
Its torque range of 0.001 to 0.14Nm makes it ideal for applications such as tensioning light gauge wire and optical fibres.
This new addition is a permanent magnetic brake.
In operation, torque is produced in the brake by rotating a hysteresis shaft assembly through a strong magnetic field produced by a multi-pole permanent magnet.
The force field can be increased or decreased simply by moving one of the magnetic poles, thereby ensuring exceptional performance consistency.
In common with all MTL brakes, the Model 513 is easy to install and does not require an electrical supply.
The absence of friction between the moving parts, coupled with seals and/or labyrinth shielding to keep out contamination, ensures a long service life. Request a free brochure from Huco Dynatork ...
