On display at this year's Hanover Messe will be the full range of Huco products including Huco-flex bellows and membrane couplers, Huco Oldham couplers, Huco Multi-Beam helical beam couplers, light duty universal joints and teleshafts.
Noteworthy exhibits include a new addition to the Vari-Tork range of adjustable friction clutches, the new P-FLEX Double Loop Elastomer coupler and a high speed stainless steel version of the Multi-Beam.
The new Vari-Tork 48 adjustable friction clutch has been introduced in response to customer demand.
This is a larger version of the popular size 25 Vari-Tork and is rated at twice the power dissipation capacity - 14W compared to 8W of the smaller versions.
A torque of 3Nms is attainable at the lower end of the speed range making it ideal for intermittent slip applications and tension control.
The Vari-Tork 48 is designed to accommodate a pulley or sprocket drive and is also available with in-line mounting arrangements utilising the size 41 Huco Oldham coupler.
The Multi-Beam display includes a high speed stainless steel version which is designed for use in centrifuges at speeds of 25,000 rpm whilst being capable of transmitting torque of up to 5Nms in the acceleration phase.
Another interesting example in this range is the miniature Micro-Beam coupler with a diameter of just 6mm.
This size is unique to Huco and used widely in a variety of precision instrument applications.
Also being shown for the first time by Huco Engineering Components is its new P-FLEX of Double Loop Elastomer couplers.
Significantly higher torque capacity and operational reliability in the temperature range from -40 C to +100 C are the principal benefits of this new range.
It also has outstanding resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents, oils, gases and ozone.
