Anyone who has ever travelled by car, coach or truck has probably sat on a wire component manufactured by William Hughes Large diameter bent wire components - up to 14mm in mild steel - are used extensively in the manufacture of vehicle seats to provide fixings and adjustment mechanisms
Smaller diameter wires are also used to give strength and shape to the foam cushions and provide anchoring points for the seat coverings.
Large diameter wire components can be made to virtually any shape and are suitable for a wide range of engineering applications.
They can be very accurately cross-drilled or threaded if required and provided with splines, darts, or pips to grip onto moulded operating handles.
Reliability of supply is assured and William Hughes has invested in the latest high capacity fully automated CNC bending machinery to ensure quality and consistency is maintained.
