The LG temperature sensor element from Heraeus Sensor Technology is hermetically sealed and highly resistant to vibration and mechanical shock.

It comprises of a thin film sensor, to either Pt 100 or Pt 1000 standard, housed inside a glass covering.

It is supplied with rigid connection wires that can be soldered, brazed or welded depending on the application.

The sensor measures 11mm long x 3 mm diameter and is suited to PCB mounting, or for use in temperature sensor assemblies.

It has an operating temperature range of -40C to +180C, offers long-term stability, near linear output and accuracy to the DIN B standard (approx +/-0.24 per cent).

For high-volume automated assembly lines it can be supplied on tape and reels.
