Off-line filtration suitable for cooling
circuit
The OLF range of Hydac filters, which can be supplied either as individual filters or as ready-to-install off-line units, is designed to filter hydraulic oils and other contaminated fluids
The OLF range of Hydac filters is designed to filter hydraulic oils, lubricating oils and other fluids which are highly contaminated They can be supplied either as individual filters or as ready-to-install off-line units complete with motor-pump unit

The OLF range of filters is generally used off-line where the high permissible flow rate means that they can also be used in a cooling circuit.
The recently developed Dimicron technology elements have a high contamination retention at comparatively high flow rates and defined retention rates.

The OLF range of Hydac filters basically consists of the following components: Housing (Lower part): The lower part consists of the oil drip tray, the filter mounting and the lower part of the filter housing.
For size 15 it serves to hold the motor-pump unit.
The lower part of sizes 15, 30 and 60 is identical so that the filter can be enlarged even after installation without having to be disassembled.
All parts are in stainless steel Centre part: The centre part is used exclusively on size 60.
It can also be used to convert size 30 into size 60.
Upper Part: The upper part of the OLF holds the return line indicator and the filter venting.
The upper parts of the OLF 30 and OLF 60 are identical.
Bracket: The bracket is used for sizes OLF30 and OLF60 and serves to hold the motor-pump unit.
Dimicron filter element: The Dimicron filter elements, using the combination of a depth filter with a membrane layer, attain an outstanding contamination retention capacity scarcely achieved before.
The construction of the element enables the whole filter surface area to be utilised and a high flow rate to pass through the element.
The Dimicron elements are connected in the housing, just as the filter elements are connected together, via a bayonet fitting.
In this way the same filter elements can be used for different filter sizes; only the quantity varies.
Motor-pump unit: The off-line filter OLF can be equipped with a motor-pump unit as an option.
A vane pump with internal pressure relief valve is fitted as the standard pump.
When the pressure relief valve opens, the flow rate of the pump decreases.
Also available as OLF compact for installation directly to the side of a reservoir for continuous tank filtration.
