Graphs can be easily manipulated, text added and reports generated.
The common link that runs through the full range of Hydrotechnik's test and data logging equipment is the excellent Hydrocomsys system analysis software.
This is a powerful, windows based program, capable of advanced analysis of hydraulic system performance.

Tests are taken using any of the Hydrotechnik hand held data logging units and the information is then transferred via RS232 connection to your laptop or PC.
Once the tests are stored within the software, the results can be displayed in either tabular or graphical form.
The software allows users to collaborate and swap files by disk or, more rapidly, by e-mail.
This is particularly useful for relaying results between service or test engineers in the field and R and D and production departments back at base.
The software enables information to be displayed in eleven different page formats, ranging from full single page graph to an eight way page split.
However, for even more versatility, the graphs can be pasted into Word for inclusion into reports and the tables can be pasted into Excel for spreadsheet evaluation.
Similarly, spreadsheet results from third party equipment can be taken back into Hydrocomsys for full graphical analysis.
Key analytical features of the software include: * Smoothing of erratic traces; important if there is background noise or spikes in the system you wish to remove.
* 11 different screen layouts.
* Up to 10 spot values can be marked onto a graph indicating points of interest.
These are displayed as marker lines on the graph and as a table of values in a different window.
* Any section of the graph can be zoomed in on by a simple click of the mouse.
The zoomed section can then be saved as a new graph.
* Text can be added to a report by typing into any other window then the graph in a multi window lay out.
* Graphs of identical parameters can be overlaid one on top of another for direct comparison of system dynamics.
* Notes can be added anywhere on a graph.
Text can be placed either by the item or linked by an arrow.
* All graphs can be manually scaled if required.
Tests may be laid on top of one another to check long term performance or repeatability.
Results can easily be exchanged by disk or as an email attachment, for example, from service engineers to factory or R+D department to component supplier.
Key users of the software include: * Mannesmann Rexroth * JCB * Ultra * Eaton - Vickers * Benfords * Thwaites * Husco * Maclaren Mercedes * Stewart Grand Prix * TWR racing * Belle Engineering * Caterpillar * Danfoss * Linden * M.O.D.
* Rolls Royce * Rotary Power * Terex * ZF Great Britain.
