Teetubes are ideal for use in most outdoor applications from lighting systems to fans, pumps, air conditioning, refrigeration equipment and LV power distribution.
New from Hylec-APL, the Teetube is novel cable connector that provides IP68 ingress protection and offers two- and three-way cable entries.
With its high IP rating and up to six pole connections the Teetube is suitable for use a wide range of applications where moisture is present.
The inclusion of an innovative transparent option also allows users to check connections without disassembly.
The fully approved all-weather Teetube is being promoted exclusively by Hylec-APL.
The versatile range includes a number of sizes, including the Mini-Teetube, and both two- and three-way cable entry versions.
High integrity TPE V-seals provide protection and ensure reliability, accommodating different types of commercially available cable up to 17mm diameter (depending on product).
The Teetubes can also be supplied with a transparent polycarbonate barrel, which is equally as tough as the nontransparent models.
These offer the luxury of making the wire connections visible without having to disassemble the unit - an extra bonus when working in wet conditions.
The products are high-quality well finished units that are aesthetically pleasing and suitable for a wide range of applications.
Other useful design features include highly visible yellow washers for easy on-site assembly.
The availability of adapters for soft or smaller cables also improves the seal compression on the cable.
All the products in the range are manufactured to ISO9002 quality standards.
