Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions (ACS) has been named 2003 Industrial Controls Solutions Company of the Year by Frost and Sullivan.

Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions (ACS) has been named 2003 Industrial Controls Solutions Company of the Year by Frost and Sullivan.

Honeywell's success can be attributed to key competitive wins achieved with products such as Experion PKS Process Knowledge System, which automates, controls and monitors manufacturing operations, increasing production and reducing operational costs.

"Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions implemented focused growth initiatives with the intent of expanding both internally and through acquisitions", says Daniela Carrillo, a Frost and Sullivan Industry Analyst.

"These strategies have built their exposure and business with a broader product line and innovative sensing technologies".

Jack Bolick, President of Honeywell Industry Solutions, said: "We are proud to receive this award and thank Frost and Sullivan for acknowledging our achievements.

This honour recognises our commitment to customers and the success we've achieved across several industrial markets.

It also supports what we've been hearing from our customers - that they can count on Honeywell to deliver the operational excellence today's marketplace requires".

Bolick cited Honeywell's Experion PKS Process Knowledge System - which has already passed $200 million in orders - as a prime example.
