With Business.Flex PKS, companies typically increase production by 3 to 6%, while reducing costs by 1 to 2%.
Users find significant improvements in operations, production, planning and scheduling, production management, as well as blending and movement automation and across the value chain.
To date, more than 1000 Business.Flex PKS solutions have been installed at oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, mining and minerals, pulp and paper and chemical facilities across the globe.
Improvements to Release 130 include a new performance management suite for better management of performance results via on-demand data retrieval.
At the heart of this solution is KPI Manager, an innovative tool to help management and plant personnel track and analyze daily business performance results with key performance indicators.
Enhancements to the operations management suite include Operations Logbook, a new application for electronic logging and more reliable shift handover.
Additionally, operations management integrates with Honeywell Operator Performance Solutions to offer a complete set of products for systematic monitoring, constraint/boundary management, alarm management and notification.
The inclusion of a revolutionary new bilinear solver in the production balance production/yield accounting system, enables simultaneous reconciliation of both quantity and quality measurements, including simultaneous component balances.
Production balance now also features a fully integrated production allocation solver for oil and gas production accounting.
Numerous improvements have been made to functionality and ease of use throughout the product line, including Honeywell's Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Operations Management, OpenBPC, Production Analyst, Production Balance and KPI Manager.

The solution drives business targets to optimum levels, allowing operators to more effectively make use of whatever platform they have, and execute plans and schedules in line with business objectives.
Release 130 also works seamlessly with Uniformance PHD, Honeywell's advanced process historian system for plant information.
