Invention Machine has gained a Korean distributor, increasing the availability of the software in southeast Asia.

Invention Machine, a provider of software that accelerates innovation and brings a structured process to inventive problem-solving, has appointed Korean Item Development as a reseller of Invention Machine products in the Korean market.

Korean Item Development (KID) is a TRis consulting and engineering company specialising in new products development.

Leveraging the TRis methodology, KID has developed a number of innovations that have received wide praise and recognition both domestically and internationally.

KID works closely with companies and universities, throughout Korea, in the areas of problem solving and technical forecasting using methodologies such as TRis and DFSS (Design for Six Sigma).

Under the agreement, KID will be reselling Invention Machine's flagship product, Goldfire Innovator.

Goldfire Innovator provides engineers and researchers with easy to use problem identification, problem solving and solution generating capabilities, enabling them to systematically tackle engineering problems across a product's lifecycle - from new product development to existing product improvement to defect resolution and prevention.

Invention Machine counts Samsung, Posco, LG, Korea Aerospace and a number of other Korean companies and universities as its customers.
