New from Image Management Technologies (IMT), the DuncanTech DT4000 high-resolution digital camera acquires 1600 x 1200pixel images at 10frame/s.
Uniquely, customers benefit from two levels of customer service; a user with a query will receive service in the UK from IMT, but has the added advantage of direct contact and expert technical support that only the manufacturer or designer can provide.
Nick Hewitson, Managing Director of IMT explained: "IMT was set up to take advantage of the European and UK growth market in the use of machine vision by many major industries.
Users are keen to exploit the advantages of adaptable technology, whilst maintaining the lowest price possible, particularly in the current economic climate.
We saw a niche in the market to offer manufacturers a different way of marketing their vision technology, taking out some of the cost.
There has been a change in the market and people are no longer prepared to pay for typical distributor margins." Principal, John Morrissey, President of MuTech Corporation Inc, added: "With the world shrinking in terms of communication by the internet and shipment with DHL, product and service can be located anywhere in the world for high technology computer products.
By employing a manufacturer's representative rather than a traditional distributor for OEM computer products, the customer gets direct factory service at a lower price and faster delivery in most cases.".
