ARRK delivery uses Direct Digital Manufacturing

An ARRK Australia and New Zealand product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 2, 2009

ARRK's product delivery for SMR Automotive used Direct Digital Manufacturing to expedite the manufacture of 350 units of prototype components.

According to the company, the quick turnaround and ability to instantaneously review the DDM components as part of the final assembly eliminated potential tooling issues with the final part design.

In addition, by exploiting the DDM process, SMR was able to give the customer a relatively high number of prototype parts ahead of standard tooling lead times.
