Icore International claims to have one of the widest ranges of specialised high-current connectors currently available in the UK.
Many of these connectors are based on Icore's novel contact-band technology, including rack and panel connectors, busbar connectors, rapid-action couplings, single-pole contacts, and connectors specifically designed for use in harsh environments.

Rack and panel connectors from Icore are available in one-, three-, four- and five-pole versions with ratings from 63 to 400A.
Ideal for use in withdrawable switchgear, and other applications where rapid replacement of equipment is required during maintenance, the connectors can optionally be supplied with lead earth pins which make first, and break last, during mating.
The busbar connectors in Icore's range are push-on types, which are also suitable for use in withdrawable switchgear.
Available with ratings up to 800A, these connectors can be supplied in uninsulated form, or with insulated housings which accommodate one, three or four poles.
Single-pole rapid-action couplings are available in a wide variety of types, with ratings up to 1kA.
All receptacles feature a positive locking mechanism, to prevent accidental disengagement of the connector, and larger types are provided with a sprung protective cover.
These components are primarily intended for industrial and laboratory applications.
For applications where uninsulated single-pole contacts are required for incorporation into custom-designed connectors, Icore offers a range of circular contact pins rated at up to 1kA.
Threaded and crimp-termination versions can be supplied, and all types feature Band 12 technology, which combines low insertion force with minimum contact resistance.
Reliability and long life in the most difficult operating conditions is the key feature of Icore's harsh environment connector range, which includes flange mounting and free connectors for use at up to 300A.
All types have an IP67 protection rating, and incorporate a special push-pull locking mechanism which gives a secure connection without the need to use tools.
