The connectors offered are based on Icore's innovative contact band technology, which provides high reliability, long service life and high fault current withstand capability, as well as minimising the physical size of connector needed for a given current rating.
Icore's contact band technology can be used with advantage in almost any type of connector where a dependable high-current solution is needed.
Typical applications for custom connectors include inter-coach connections in rail systems, connectors for withdrawable switchgear and motor control equipment, and high-current connections for fuel cells and large batteries.
Rotating connections, such as those encountered in welding robots, can also be provided.
When designing and manufacturing the connectors, Icore has access to a wide range of insulating materials.
Cost-effective products can, therefore, be supplied to suit any working voltage, from a few volts up to tens of kilovolts.
