Icore International's new European New Business Development Manager for the company's power contact business unit plans to raise customer knowledge of high-current connectors.

Electrical interconnect specialist, Icore International, has appointed Jerome Cheze as European New Business Development Manager for the company's power contact business unit.

Cheze plans to raise customer knowledge of high-current connectors and to meet their needs by expanding Icore's product range.

His strategy will be to work closely with customers, carefully analysing their needs and optimising the company's operations accordingly.

"Our clients require a very high level of technical competence, which Icore, with its track record for innovation and its extensive experience in the connector field, is exceptionally well placed to provide", said Cheze.

"We will not only be moving forward with new products for general applications, but also in the field of customised products to suit specific user requirements".

It is Icore's knowledge of the design and manufacture of power contact solutions which attracted Cheze to the position.

"The contact band technology Icore provides is outstanding", he said.

"Add to this a highly motivated team with a commitment to affectively addressing the many challenges in the area of power contacts and I know that I shall be managing a business unit with a very prosperous future".

Before moving to Icore, Jerome worked for Multi Contact for five years, where he was involved in sales of connectors into the French market.

He is a graduate of the Bourg School of Business where he studied Marketing in Industrial Sales.
