Malaysia-based CollabTech Asia has been appointed to distribute the ICEM Surf software suite to the expanding Malaysian automotive industry.
Malaysia-based CollabTech Asia has been appointed to distribute the ICEM Surf software suite to the expanding Malaysian automotive industry.
"The automotive design and manufacturing industry in the Asia Pacific region is proving to be an extremely active market for ICEM", said Tim Norman, Director, Global Operations, ICEM.
"The appointment of CollabTech, which already has the required skills and a successful track record in implementing product design and development systems in Malaysia, will enable us to more effectively support our existing customers in the automotive industry in the region and to make the most of future opportunities as they arise".
CollabTech, which has offices in Selangor and Penang and is also a distributor of PTC's Pro/Engineer CAD/CAM software suite, will provide ICEM Surf software consulting, sales, implementation, training and support services to automotive industry OEMs and their Tier 1 and 2 suppliers in Malaysia, as well as to automotive and industrial design houses.
