ICEM has recently signed a business partner agreement with Solver Engineering Company of Voronezh City near Moscow.
ICEM has recently signed a business partner agreement with Solver Engineering Company of Voronezh City near Moscow.
Under the terms of the agreement, Solver becomes a reseller of the ICEM Surf software suite to the automotive design and engineering industry in the Confederation of Independent States (CIS).
"The automotive industry within the CIS is rapidly adopting the latest design and manufacturing technologies in order to keep pace with worldwide competition", said Tim Norman, Director, Global Operations, ICEM.
"We have been experiencing an increasing level of interest from the region in our software offerings and as a result, needed to find a local company with the technical expertise and market knowledge that can make the most of these opportunities.
Being a highly experienced and successful product development and manufacturing systems solutions company, with many customers in the automotive vehicles, defence equipment and consumer durable products industries, Solver is the ideal partner for us in the CIS".
Solver will provide ICEM Surf software consulting, sales, implementation, training and support services to automotive industry OEMs and their Tier 1 and 2 suppliers in the CIS, as well as to automotive and industrial design organisations throughout the region.
"This agreement with ICEM has already resulted in our first contract for the supply and implementation of ICEM Surf within the CIS, from the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for use in its Scientific/Engineering Republican Unitary Enterprise, 'Belautotractorbuilding'", said Vladimir Beltsov, Senior Sales Manager, Solver Technical Centre.
"This clearly demonstrates that ICEM Surf puts us ahead of our competition, because in addition to our existing skills in developing detail design engineering and manufacturing solutions for our customers, with ICEM Surf we now have the ability to also provide them with integrated solutions for the upstream design development, visualisation and Class-A surfaces engineering processes, which are some of the most sought-after capabilities in the automotive industry in the CIS".
