ICEM has been selected to provide one of the conference speakers at the Conat 2004 International Automotive Congress taking place in Brasov, Romania from 20th to 22nd October 2004.

Horst Vogt, an ICEM product marketing manager, will present a paper entitled "The design influence in e-engineering".

This will examine how automotive companies' e-engineering processes and systems are affected by the need to satisfy design trends and customers' demands and will look at some of the solutions that software developers are introducing to address these effects.

Organised on behalf of the Transilvania University and supported by FISITA (the International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies) and SIAR (the Automotive Engineers Society of Romania), Conat 2004 is the tenth in the series of events which started in 1965 and take place every five years.

Delegates are drawn to the event from all over Europe, as well as from the USA and China, to participate in an exchange of ideas from academics and from industry experts on the challenges facing the global automotive industry today.

In addition to presenting a paper in the conference, ICEM will also be present in the accompanying trade exhibition.

Here the company will demonstrate the latest version of its industry-leading surface modelling, analysis and visualisation software suite, ICEM Surf 4.4, as well as its new concept modelling and styling software product, ICEM Style.
