IDC Technologies has a new practical two day "hands-on" training workshop on "Electrical wiring standards - IEE BS7671:2001 Edition".

IDC Technologies has a new practical two day "hands-on" training workshop on "Electrical wiring standards - IEE BS7671:2001 Edition".

Topics covered include: the essentials of the BS7671 standard; how to find your way around BS7671; harmonisation issues with European standards; principles and practice of shock protection; calculation of circuit impedances; discrimination between devices; cable sizing; earthing and bonding; inspection and testing requirements; certification requirements; and 11 practical sessions.

Delegates will include: electrical engineers and trades persons, engineering and maintenance managers, electrical contractors and graduates, building services engineers.

Each delegate will receive a comprehensive reference manual and certificate on completion.

Forthcoming public UK presentation dates are: 17th and 18th June in Manchester; 11th and 12th July in London; and 15th and 16th July in Glasgow.

The workshop can also be presented in-house at any venue worldwide, with specific dates to suit each individual client.
