IDC technologies is running a series of three intense two-day practical workshops in the UK on the fundamentals of chemical and process engineering.

IDC technologies is running a series of three intense two-day practical workshops in the UK on the fundamentals of chemical and process engineering.

Each workshop will provide a solid working knowledge to the jargon and terminology of: stoichiometry; fluid flow; thermodynamics; heat transfer; mass transfer; reaction kinetics; unit operations; process control; process economics; and process design considerations for pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, reactors, agitators and filtration equipment.

The understanding of safety guidelines in chemical and process plants will be extensively covered in each workshop, along with process drawings and troubleshooting of process equipment.

The workshops will be held on: 17th and 18th October 2002 in London; 21st and 22nd October 2002 in Manchester; and 24th and 25th October 2002 in Glasgow.
