A 2-day workshop on "Hydraulic systems: operation and troubleshooting" is scheduled for Cardiff, Leeds and Edinburgh.
IDC Technologies is presenting a 2-day workshop entitled "Hydraulic systems: operation and troubleshooting", in Cardiff on 3rd and 4th July, in Leeds on 6th and 7th July and in Edinburgh on 10th and 11th July 2006.
This workshop targets engineers and technicians needing increased knowledge in the fundamentals of hydraulic applications, maintenance programmes and troubleshooting.
Cutaways of all major components are brought to the sessions to visually demonstrate the components' construction and operation.
Developing an understanding of "how" it works leads to an understanding of how and why it fails.
Multimedia views of the equipment are provided to this end.
The Hydraulics workshop is a highly practical, comprehensive and interactive two-day course.
Discussions on hydraulic systems construction, design-applications, operations, maintenance and management issues will be included and encouraged, as will the best practice in dealing with the subject.
Colin Walker, the instructor, has been involved in the fluid power industry (hydraulics and pneumatics) for over 20 years as a maintenance engineer, design engineer and has even extended his expertise into the sales and marketing side of business.
He is an experienced engineer and an enthusiastic presenter with good knowledgeable and practical experience of the hydraulics industry, having worked for some of the major fluid power equipment manufacturers.
Walker is currently employed as an engineering lecturer in the UK and is the technical director of a fluid power engineering company.
He is also a representative member of the British Fluid Power Association's Education and Training Committee.
