The Industrial Technology Roadshow is a free half-day event that allows attendees to update their engineering knowledge and meet with leaders in electrical engineering, control and instrumentation.
Topics covered at the show include: earthing, lightning and surge protection; fieldbus, Devicenet and industrial Ethernet; loop tuning - tips and tricks; myths and best practice with data communications systems in hazardous areas; and e-learning.
The event will take place at the following venues: Cardiff, 13 October; Glasgow, 14 October; Aberdeen, 15 October; Newcastle, 16 October; London, 20 October; Birmingham, 21 October; Manchester, 22 October; Cork, 23 October; and Dublin, 24 October.
A free CD-ROM packed with engineering and technical software, copies of the topic notes, the latest Industrial Automation Pocket Guide and selected engineering videos will also be provided.
