A new range of compatible system integration hardware to complement the ICS Triplex range of 'Trusted' critical control and safety systems is designed to cut costs for OEMs and system integrators
A new range of compatible system integration hardware to complement the ICS Triplex range of 'Trusted' critical control and safety systems is designed to cut the system costs for OEMs and system integrators alike.
"Recent examples have shown a reduction in hardware integration costs by up to 45%," says Sales Director, Martin Snow.
"The assured quality of the components gives a new standard in system reliability and gives the added bonus that project time-scales can be reduced because of significant savings in design verification and testing," he says.
The comprehensive range of components includes pre-formed field signal cables, power distribution and protection units, fan units, cable management systems.
Field termination assemblies and even flat-pack cabinets.
I/O dedicated modules are available for both analogue and digital and a unique 'Universal I/O module' allows the mixing of signal types on the same module.
This offers unique opportunities in integrated fire and gas systems and continuous testing of safety shutdown valves "ICS Triplex has done the product evaluation to produce a complete product offer that saves time and cost," adds Martin Snow, "so that OEMs or systems integrators can build complete systems designed to manufacturers' build rules with minimal engineering effort - above all competitively!" The complete Trusted system is configured using any programming language from the IEC1131 Toolset and will seamlessly integrate with the third party systems using MODBUS on serial or Ethernet and OPC.
The user benefits are a safer, standard system build, using manufacturers' recommended materials and designs.
