Peter Mottershead, the new Chief Executive at ICS Triplex, has relaunched the site to be educational, informative and topical for everyone concerned with high integrity control and critical safety systems engineering.
The site now includes educational features and comments from recognised industry experts, news feeds from the global industries ICS Triplex serves, a chat room called the SafetyClub to which any visitor can summit comments, a guide to relevant safety standards and links to other sites, such as ISA, TUV and the NFPA.
"The website is just one of a comprehensive programme of initiatives we are implementing over the coming months," says Mottershead, an electronics engineer who has held senior executive positions with Ross Group PLC, Timex Electronics Corporation and AB Electronic Products Group PLC.
One of the outward signs of change is a new logo.
"With this we're signalling that ICS Triplex is embracing change and adapting to the new ways that business is being done in a world that is changing-technically, commercially and politically-faster than ever before." Mottershead and his colleagues are also renewing their commitment to manufacturing world leading fault tolerant safety systems, having recently released version 3.0 of their Trusted system and also developed a range of pre-built assemblies to aid the process of engineering and building safer systems.
This gives users the choice of integrating a system in the traditional way from components, or using the assemblies to reduce build time and cost whilst realising the added safety of having the critical assemblies built by experts at ICS Triplex in their quality assured, safety conscious manufacturing plants in Britain and America.
