Idec Europe are pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Schiller, as Managing Director for its UK and European operations.

Idec Europe are pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Schiller, as Managing Director for its UK and European operations After being with the company for 3 years, Brandon Barnwell, the previous Managing Director sets himself up for retirement

Having been instrumental in the company's recent developments including relocation to their larger facility at Basingstoke, Brandon retired from the position of Managing Director at the end of September.

Idec have substantial and enthusiastic plans to develop the European arm of its business and Steve Schiller will now be conducting the business development activity in order to meet these objectives.

"It is our intention to have a much greater presence within the UK and continental Europe market place, and I look forward to the challenges that await us" says Steve Schiller.

"We have a long way to go in order to meet the growth plans that have been set, and in order that these plans can be meet a focused business development strategy is currently unfolding".

The range of control and automation products available from Idec has far-reaching potential in this market from push buttons and power supplies through to PLC's and HMI products.

The next few months will see many new and exciting introductions to the product portfolio.
