The latest additions to the PS5R range of switched-mode DIN-rail mounting plastic-case power supplies from Idec Electronics provide the power of a traditional power supply in only half the space.

The first of a new range, the 30W is available in 12 and 24V DC models.

The 60 and 90W units both have 24V DC outputs.

The 30 and 60W use the same plastic case, only 36mm wide, whereas the 90W uses a 46mm case.

These dimensions are less than half the width of the established PS5R Classic power supplies of equivalent wattage.

Like all Idec switching power supplies the PS5R Slimline have worldwide CE, UL and CSA approvals, fused inputs and overvoltage and overcurrent protection.

They are DIN-rail or direct surface mountable and have universal voltage inputs accommodating 85-264V AC and 100-370V DC.

No derating means the Slimline supplies can be driven at 100% current capability up to 60C.
