HMI family gains touchscreen options
Idec Electronics has added 10.4 and 12.1in touchscreens to its HG family of operator interfaces.
Idec Electronics has added 10.4 and 12.1in touchscreens to its HG family of operator interfaces With 256 colours to play with, the HG3F (10.4in) and HG3F (12.1in) offer bright, clear TFT screens that can be seen from any distance
High-resolution definition and 8Mbyte of memory ensures these new touchscreens have more than enough capability for the most demanding application.
The displays have RS232, RS485 and RS422 compatibility, parallel port and a 10Base-T Ethernet ports and with a field replaceable backlight, hazardous area classification and IP66 rating can be considered suitable for most environments.
Compact Flash memory provides data logging support for alarms and trending.
Updated WindO/I software will program these new touchscreens as well as the other models in the range and drivers are included to provide communications to other manufacturers' PLCs.
