A custom assembled display using the Idec SLC30 system can meet the requirement for a control panel, factory automation system or alarm annunciator.

Machine builders who want to supply an individual display solution that does not need HMI programming can opt for an Idec multiple-window display which can also incorporate pushbuttons, selector switches etc A custom assembled display using the Idec SLC30 system can meet the requirement for a control panel, factory automation system or alarm annunciator

This flexible system is constructed from variable-size frames and can incorporate different size windows.

The basic window size is 30 x 30mm, hence the name SLC30.

Other window sizes are a multiple of this (30 x 60, 15 x 30, 60 x 60mm etc) but the frame size is based on the number of rows and columns of the standard window size.

A frame size of up to 200 windows can be constructed.

Lens colours of red, green, yellow, amber, blue and white can be chosen, and each window can be wired to a different voltage if required.

Low voltage DC supplies are taken direct, whereas AC supplies are wired to individual window transformers.

To provide operator control, pushbuttons (illuminated and nonilluminated), selector switches and keyswitches can be accommodated in any window position.

As with all Idec control units there is a choice of incandescent lamps or super-bright long-life LEDs or even a combination of the two.

Lenses suitable for engraving are provided for each window.

In order to give increased peace of mind the SLC display has UL approval and is CSA and CE certified.
