Idec Electronics has the latest version of WindLDR PLC software which incorporates a number of new features.

WindLDR has now been upgraded to version 5.0.

A new feature is online editing which means a program can be modified and tested without stopping the PLC.

Test programs can be downloaded to the PLC, tested then either saved or discarded.

Monitoring of the PLC program through custom dialog boxes has also been improved, the communication speed being significantly increased, meaning momentary contact closures can be more clearly observed.

One of the most useful features is program simulation on a PC.

Ladder programs can be tested without downloading to the PLC.

Contact closing and opening can be affected simply by double clicking on the contact, and so users can selectively test all parts of the program as required.
