IDEC Electronics are pleased to announce the introduction of the latest member of our PS5R-S range of switched mode DIN rail mounted plastic power supplies.

Idec Electronics has introduced the latest version of its PS5R-S range of switched mode DIN rail mounted plastic power supplies.

The new models give users the power of a traditional power supply in only half the space.

The 15W version complements the existing 30, 60, 90, 120 and 240W slim line power supplies.

The emphasis is on reduced width to keep DIN rail space to a minimum, in the case of the 15W only 22.5mm.

Up to date technology in power supply design means overall dimensions have been reduced dramatically compared to those of the established PS5R Classic power supplies of equivalent wattage.

The PS5R Slimline has worldwide CE, UL and CSA approvals, fused inputs and overvoltage and overcurrent protection.

The 120W and 240W versions have voltage low indication.

They are DIN rail or direct surface mountable and have universal voltage inputs accommodating 85 - 264V AC and 100 - 370V DC.

The absence of de-rating means means the Slimline can be used at 100% current capability up to 60C.
