IDEC signal light tower has stackable modules

An IDEC Electronics product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 14, 2009

IDEC has launched its signal light tower with oval design.

The stackable LED modules ensure that colour arrangement can be easily altered by interchanging them or adding additional colours.

Each LED module has a lens which combines the different properties of diffusing and condensing lenses, this ensures high-visibility, super-bright illumination.

Light guides are incorporated in the lens design which enhances the visibility when the signal light tower is viewed from below.

The tower can consist of a maximum of five tiers and is created using the standard colours of red, yellow, blue, green or pure white.

Frame-mounted modules, designed to be fixed directly to an aluminum machine frame, and wall-mount modules are both mounted at 90deg.

The more traditional direct mount is fixed directly to the top of the machine or control consol.

A pole-mount version is also offered.

The signal light tower has an ingress protection rating of IP65, allowing for use in many applications and environments.

Supply voltage: 24V AC/DC.
