Electronics introduces the new H Series of miniature slip-ring assemblies.

Available in any configuration from one to twelve ways, they are a reliable and cost effective solution for applications such as closed circuit television cameras, robots and downhole inspection equipment.

With gold plated rings and gold alloy brushes, the H Series is suitable for all video and digital signals.

The compact size allows installation into the smallest units and a wide variety of connections are available.

Leads are 300 mm long as standard but any length and colour can be supplied, as can connectors to any specification.

Body flanges can also be supplied to provide a direct replacement for existing units.

H Series units work with all voltages up to 240 V and sustain a current up to 2 Amps.

The dielectric strength is 500 V at 50 Hz for 10 seconds and insulation resistance is over 200 Megohms at 500 V DC.

The working temperature range is -20 to +90°C and the maximum speed is 100 rpm, running on two sets of ball bearings.

Two models are available on very short lead times, the 950 allowing up to six ways and the 951, up to twelve.

Unlike competitive units, the modular design allows the customer to specify exactly the configuration he needs.

This is likely to prove extremely popular, as many users currently have to specify 12-way units when they only need seven.

Electronics is a growing British slip-ring manufacturer and the new H Series is the first in a series of new products designed to transform the connection needs of industry.
